As you may have heard or read on the MSM, yesterday (6th March 2024) a “deadly Russian missile strike on the Ukrainian port city of Odes[s]a appeared to land near president Volodymyr Zelenskiy and visiting Greek prime minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis” (cit. The Guardian - emphasis original). The funny thing is that they did not rush into any nearby bunker, as reported by The Guardian.

The Guardian and other sources mentioned that the “Greek leader came within meters of the blast”, some saying 200 m, others 500 m. But this is irrelevant.
The real question is: why would have the Russians tried to kill Zelensky, risking to kill the Greek Prime Minister, which could have had nefarious consequences (i.e. escalating the conflict to a full-blown war between Russia and NATO)?
Why not to (try to) kill him while “alone” in his Presidential Palace in Bankova Street in Kiev with a Kinzhal or while visiting the front? The latter option would be much easier. Even better: poisoning or another silent operation by the FSB (the Federal Security Service of Russia) - it is very likely that FSB agents are in Kiev.
It is quite clear that Russia has nothing to gain by killing Zelensky together with a Prime Minister of a NATO country. There are many other ways to kill him without risking an escalation with NATO. So, although I do not have any way to verify it, my theory is that this was most likely a false flag to try and convince NATO countries to rush sending weapons and air defence to Ukraine. It would not be the first time anyway.
For instance, we know that, back in February 2023, Joe Biden was welcomed in Kiev with the sound of the air raid alarm, though no air bombing took place. Again, something “funny” happened. As France23 reported back then…
Both the 80-year-old US leader and the 45-year president of Ukraine appeared unbothered by the sirens as they walked out of St Michael's gold-domed cathedral, a symbol of Ukrainian resistance, on a crisp winter day with a clear blue sky.
[…]
Neither Biden's plainclothes security detail nor the armed Ukrainian soldiers wearing camouflage fatigues and helmets showed any sign of concern during the air raid sirens.

Generally speaking, high-profile visits in Ukraine are communicated in advance to Russia, as reported here, for instance, for the case mentioned above, exactly to minimize/avoid the risk of killing a visiting high-ranking official.
However, The Guardian also reports that Kyriakos Mitsotakis’s “visit had been planned for months with the Greek media reporting on Thursday that he had taken off from a military airport in “top secret” circumstances because of security concerns”. That is quite strange.
Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, wrote the following post on his Telegram channel (emphasis mine):
It's obvious to everyone.
And that there was no hit on the motorcade in Odessa.
And that if the target had been set, they would have been hit.
And that the bloody blowhard is just a cocaine shadow of his master, a blind anti-Russian weapon.
And that in principle it does not matter who holds the position of the head of the neo-Nazi regime.
But it's still a shame.
It's a pity that it was definitely launched in a pre-planned place. And that His Majesty's punishing finger did not decide the fate of the first genital musician otherwise.
