The whole thing in my off-the-top-of-my-head opinion is intended to integrate the US DEEPER into the Middle East, rather than withdrawing as Iran intends.
I've said for years that Israel can't defeat Hezbollah by itself, it HAS to ask for help from the US. When I saw those Marine MEUs going to the Middle East, I assumed that was what they were for. But Brian Berletic pointed out that the entire Marine Corp was refitted to be a maritime interdiction force, which is what they are being used for in the current conflict.
Nonetheless, given the effort the US is putting into the Lebanon issue to start a civil war using a compromised Lebanese army, I believe the US WILL eventually put boots on the ground in Lebanon or at least air support to try to assist Israel against Hezbollah. I don't know when, but if we assume this war continues, it will have to and it will have to before the IDF collapses entirely, which probably means within a year.
This "integration" thing is clearly intended as a long-term measure, which is why I believe it's intended to get the US deeper involved in the Israeli project, using Israel as the proxy, but with direct support by the US, to take out the rest of the Middle East states, as well as to use an enhanced and directly supported Israel as the battering ram in order to minimize the need for entire US armies to deal with the situation.
Bottom line: Israel gets the US to achieve its "Greater Israel" project, and the US controls Israel in order to control the Middle East and deny the oil to China.
And of course, the financial benefits to the US and Israeli MIC from this integration is also a benefit to both parties personal bank accounts.
Not that ANY of this will actually succeed, but the outlines of the PLAN are there.
I just listened to Colonel Daniel Davis' interview today with oil expert Arthur Berman on Davis' YouTube channel. It's a shocker. Everyone needs to view it. I linked to it in a Substack Note just now. This is the link to the video:
We're looking at a GUARANTEED world Depression worse than 1029. Berman says this war is a world-changing event, oil will never return to its original price, and a year from now perhaps 45% of the oil being shipped in February will be available. And that's if the war ends this week - which isn't going to happen.
