Little Satan drops bunker-busting bombs in Beirut, seeking all-out war with Iran and Axis of Resistance
A few minutes after the end of Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech at the UNGA (United Nations General Assembly) in New York, at ~18.30 EEST Little Satan carried out several heavy airstrikes with American F-35 jets and bunker-busting bombs (as per Israeli Army Radio) in residential neighbourhoods in the Haret Hreik area, a mixed Shia and Maronite Christian municipality, in the Dahieh suburbs in the south of the Lebanese capital Beirut, as reported by Al Mayadeen, allegedly targeting Hezbollah leader, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, according to Fox News, which was quoted also by The Guardian, previously quoting Israeli Army Spokesperson Daniel Hagari (here and here) as saying that they targeted the Hezbollah headquarters (HQ), allegedly built “under residential buildings in Beirut in order to use them as human shields”. I have no way of verifying this, but to be honest I do not trust a single word coming out of their filthy mouths. However, we know from sources close to the Lebanese resistance quoted by The Guardian that Nasrallah is still alive and well, though Al Mayadeen and official Resistance channels have not reported any news about him yet. Hopefully, we will hear from himself soon, to effectively prove that he is fine and to launch more curses against Little Satan. But even if he was really killed, the Axis of Resistance would not falter, actually it may even get emboldened!
In fact, Nasser Kanaani, the Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman, released the following statement, as reported by IRNA (Islamic Republic News Agency):
This barbaric attack, which was carried out with the bombs donated by the American regime to the rebellious Zionist regime, besides being a flagrant violation of the laws and regulations of international law, as well as the sovereignty and territorial integrity and national security of Lebanon, is an obvious and unconcealable war crime. And therefore, without a doubt, the American regime is also an accomplice along with the Zionist regime and must be held accountable.
The continuation of the Zionist regime's crimes against the people of Palestine and Lebanon clearly shows that the call for a ceasefire by the United States and some Western countries is a clear deception aimed at buying time for the continuation of the crimes of the Zionist regime against the Palestinian and Lebanese people.
The Guardian also reported that Iran’s embassy in Beirut condemned Little Satan’s airstrikes, saying that these “represent a serious escalation that changes the rules of the game”, adding that Little Satan would be “punished appropriately”.
Ansar Allah Political Bureau has also released the following statement, as reported on this post of the Resistance News Network Backup Telegram Channel:
Targeting the southern suburb, which is crowded with civilians, is unprecedented brutality and is neither new nor surprising to the zionist gang.
The zionist entity’s persistence in committing bloody crimes and escalation after escalation takes place amid great humiliation and conspiracy against the jihad and resistance movements.
The "israeli" enemy would not have persisted in this way without the unlimited Western and American support.
The weapons used in the recent raids reaffirm that the United States of America is a full partner in the blood of civilians. The aggression against Palestine and Lebanon is an American war par excellence. We renew our solidarity with the Islamic resistance in Lebanon, and affirm our confidence in Hezbollah, its political and military leaders, and its solid incubator.
We call on the Arab and Islamic peoples and the free people of humanity for more solidarity to stop the war and aggression against Lebanon and Palestine.
The dangerous development in the aggression against Lebanon opens the door to an open and comprehensive war, the result of which will only be devastating to the temporary entity and the war criminals.
In my opinion, these destructive and escalatory airstrikes by Little Satan in densely populated areas of Beirut are intended to provoke Iran and bring Great Satan (a.k.a. the Outlaw US Empire) in the “game”, thus seeking an all-out war in the Middle East with all major actors of the Axis of Resistance… and possibly beyond (e.g. Russia - let’s not forget the alleged Israeli strike towards the only Russian naval base in the East Med, in the seaport of Tartus in Syria, just a few days ago - see post scriptum at the end of this article)!
In any case, as a result of such heavy bombing, 6 buildings were completely razed to the ground, two people were killed and 76 injured, according to the Lebanon's health ministry cited by The Guardian, but most likely the death toll will increase, as most people are probably trapped in the rubble. You can see yourself the level of destruction and the huge mushroom-shaped clouds of dust rising from the ground all over the residential neighbourhoods in Haret Hreik in the videos embedded in the aforementioned Al Mayadeen article: it is simply horrific… and no different from what Little Satan has been doing for almost one year in Gaza.
Apparently Benjamin Netanyahu himself ordered the massive airstrike from his hotel room in New York, as per The Guardian, sharing the following tweets:

Now, in the Air Force Command, together with the Chief of Staff and the top of the IDF.
Continue to hit Hezbollah, everywhere, at any time, until the residents of the north return home safely.
Yeah, sure… Gallant, keep dreaming! Destruction of peaceful residential areas of Beirut will NOT bring Israeli settlers back in the north of your country!
As usual, American officials, including Pentagon spokesperson Sabrina Singh (cited here by The Guardian) and President Joe Biden himself (quoted here by The Guardian), are saying that they had no prior knowledge of Israeli plans, but confirming that there was a phone conversation between Yoav Gallant and his US counterpart, Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, while the operation was taking place. They never know anything about Israeli plans, yet they provide weapons (including F-35 jets and bunker-busting bombs) and intelligence. It makes sense, right? Only a fool would believe them!
And then we have US secretary of state Antony Blinken stating in a news conference in New York that Israel's objective in Lebanon is “important and legitimate”, as reported by The Guardian… no words.
But let’s wind back the clock to Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech at the UNGA assembly, to see what type of welcoming reception he got:
As reported also by Al Mayadeen, representatives of several UN member nations walked out of the room, leaving it almost empty, while Netanyahu approached the lectern. I do not think it is worth reporting his callous speech, which you can probably find somewhere. I’d rather focus on the reception he received both inside and outside the UNGA, with thousands of anti-war protesters gathered in New York to demonstrate against him and calling for his arrest. Since we also mentioned Ansar Allah, it is also worth winding the clock back even more and briefly reporting about two operations carried out earlier today by the Yemeni Armed Forces (YAF) today, as reported in two articles (1 and 2) by Al Mayadeen: one targeting “three United States Navy destroyers in the Red Sea, which were sailing toward occupied Palestine to support the Israeli regime” and another one targeting Tel Aviv and Askalan with Palestine-2 hypersonic ballistic missiles.
