So spoke Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah
The Axis of Resistance is planning its revenge against Israel.
Before delving into the main topic of this article, let me first report about the Russian proposal for a UNSC statement condemning the assassination of Hamas political leader Ismail Haniyeh.
This draft statement, presented by Russia at a UNSC meeting, was blocked by NATO countries: the Outlaw US Empire and its vassal states, United Kingdom and France (source: TASS - of course you will not find anything about it in the Western MSM!).
Not even a condemnation in a paltry press release, which in any case has only and exclusively symbolic value, but at least it would have been a good signal, especially if they really wanted to avoid escalation.
Yet another stain on the Western world, which again finds itself isolated in supporting Netanyahu's crimes.
Now as for the main topic…
Following the missile/rocket strike in Majdal Shams in the occupied Syrian Golan Heights and the subsequent assassinations of senior Hezbollah commander Fuad Shukr, also known as Hajj Mohsin and Sayyed Mohsen, in Beirut (Lebanon) and of Hamas Political Bureau Chief Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran (Iran), carried out by Israel, today the Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, delivered a speech, of which I report the following excerpts, taken from Al Mayadeen Short News and from this Al Mayadeen article (all emphasis mine):
Our internal investigation confirms that we have no connection to what happened in Majdal Shams. We have the courage to admit it, if it was a mistake on our part.
Israel cannot accept the hypothesis that the incident in Majdal Shams was due to an Israeli interceptor missile.
The aim of accusing the Resistance [of the incident in Majdal Shams] is to incite sectarian strife between the [Druze] people of the occupied Golan and [Hezbollah] and behind it the Shiite sect, in order to undermine the most significant achievements of the al-Aqsa Flood.
I extend my condolences and congratulations to our brothers in Hamas and the al-Qassam Brigades on the martyrdom of brother Ismail Haniyeh.
Do they imagine they [the Israelis] can kill the leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran and Iran will remain silent?
For Israelis celebrating that they have assassinated Resistance prominent leaders in Beirut and Tehran and earlier attack Hodeidah... you will cry a lot because you do not realize which red lines you have crossed and [what] you have committed.
We are paying the price for supporting Gaza, and this is not the first [price we had to pay]; hundreds of our martyrs have fallen, including leaders, and we accept the price of the martyrdom of Sayyed Mohsen and those with him.
The enemy must await the anger and revenge of the honorable people of this Ummah.
We are facing a major battle in which matters have gone beyond the issue of support fronts.
The enemy and those who stand behind him must await our response [to the assassination of Sayyed Mohsen], which will inevitably come, God willing.
The decision is now in the hands of the frontline, its circumstances, and the opportunities it offers. We are looking for a solid and well-studied response, not a formal one.
Brace yourself - a hot summer is coming!
Get them Hezbollah, bring down the barbaric Zionist regime!
