The death of Yahya Sinwar?
...and the US bombing of Yemen with a B-2 strategic bomber. Plus some news (unreported by the Western MSM) from the Axis of Resistance.
The breaking news today (17th October 2024) is the death of Hamas leader Yahya Ibrahim Hassan Sinwar - at least that’s what Little Satan (a.k.a. Israel) is claiming and Western mainstream media is reporting. The news broke out at ~15:00 CEST, when The Guardian first reported it:
Apparently he was killed by chance, as reported by The Guardian, citing Israel’s Kan Radio.
Only four hours later, at ~19:00 CEST, his death was confirmed by the Israel “Defense” Forces (IDF), allegedly after comparison of dental images and DNA testing, as reported by The Guardian:
In the penultimate link above, The Guardian quoted Reuters as saying “that Hamas sources have said that indications suggest that Sinwar was killed in an Israeli operation in Gaza”, however, strangely enough, as of this writing, I have not read anything on Al Mayadeen, IRNA or Telegram channels related to the Axis of Resistance. So, I remain sceptical until we receive confirmation from Hamas, other factions of Palestinian resistance or from the wider Axis of Resistance, as I do not trust Israeli/Zionist liars.
Nevertheless, as you can imagine, there have has been quite a flurry of reactions from Western leaders and politicians, starting with British Defence Secretary John Healey, who was quoted by the BBC as saying:
I for one, will not mourn the death of a terror leader like Sinwar - someone who was responsible for the terror attack on October 7th.
…continuing with French President Emmanuel Macron, who tweeted on X:
Yahya Sinwar was the main person responsible for the terrorist attacks and barbaric acts of October 7th. Today, I think with emotion of the victims, including 48 of our compatriots, and their loved ones. France demands the release of all hostages still held by Hamas.
…and finishing with Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani, who said that he hoped that that Sinwar’s killing “will lead to a ceasefire in Gaza” (source: The Guardian). Yeah, sure, Tajani… keep dreaming!
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu described Sinwar’s death as the “beginning of the end” (source: The Guardian) and stated:
I’m telling you in a clear cut manner: Hamas will no longer rule the Gaza Strip.
…as reported by The Guardian.
Well… sorry, Bibi, but this is just wishful thinking! What have you accomplished with the killing of Ismail Haniyeh, the late Hamas leader before Sinwar, in Tehran, apart from angering Iran? What have you achieved after killing Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, the late Secretary-General of Hezbollah? Not much to be honest, actually both Hamas in Gaza and Hezbollah in Lebanon are still strong, if not even stronger than before, and you have angered Iran, that retaliated the two assassination with a massive missile barrage that you could not stop! But maybe it’s escalation that you want.
Getting back to Gaza… the consensus of Hamas has increased exponentially since 7th October 2023, because they see it as their only hope of defence. In Gaza, every family has been bereaved and mourned by a relative, especially children, torn apart by Little Satan with Great Satan’s weapons and ammunitions.
So, put your minds at rest about two fundamental things, dear Bibi and all of you Western leader: the first is that that the Palestinian people, who exude dignity from every single bit of skin, will not surrender in the face of criminal colonialism; the second is that Israel has lost: morally and ethically.
It is also worth reporting that this morning the Great Satan (a.k.a. the Outlaw US Empire) “deployed its strategic B-2 bomber for the first time to launch a series of raids on Yemeni cities”, as reported in this Al Mayadeen article.
In my opinion the deployment of the Northrop B-2 Spirit heavy strategic bomber, capable of carrying a far heavier load of bombs than the fighter jets used so far to target Ansar Allah’s facilities, is a warning signal to Iran, telling its leader that Great Satan is not backing down and is ready to support Little Satan with all its weapons.
But Great Satan may have miscalculated. In fact, the Houthis have vowed to retaliate, issuing the following statement, quoted by The Guardian:
We confirm that the American aggression will not pass without a response.
If I were in Lloyd Austin, the US Defence Secretary, I would be very worried. In fact, as reported in another Al Mayadeen article this afternoon, quoting Newsweek, earlier this year the “Yemeni Armed Forces [YAF] successfully launched a missile that landed some 200 meters away from a US aircraft carrier”, namely the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower aircraft carrier. I am pretty sure that, if they wanted, the Houthis could hit and sink a US aircraft carrier quite easily, but they have just refrained from doing so until now!
It is also worth reporting that in a televised speech Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, the leader of Yemen's Ansar Allah movement, praised Islamic Resistance in Lebanon (Hezbollah) and Iraq for their resistance efforts and called all Arabs to unite to stop threat of Israeli expansionism, as reported by Al Mayadeen. He also stated that…
Washington seeks to enable the Tel Aviv regime to dominate the entire region through both political and economic means.
The US is a partner in every sense of the word with the Zionist regime in its crimes and brutalities.
By the way, speaking of Islamic Resistance factions, these have recently been targeting a US base in the Conoco gas field, north of Deir Ezzor in eastern Syria, with a barrage of missiles, as reported by Al Mayadeen, but of course the Western MSM will never tell you anything about this, otherwise it would have to say that the Outlaw US Empire is there just to steal Syrian oil allegedly with the excuse of fighting ISIS there (a creation of theirs).
It is also worth reporting that Hezbollah has recently unveiled newly developed “Qader 2 and Nasr 1 missiles, which were put into service on October 14, 2024” against Tel Aviv, as reported by Al Mayadeen in this article.
I will conclude this article with the following video released by Hezbollah, which at the end says: “We will make Haifa like Kiryat Shmona and Metula” (these two communities have been pounded by rockets almost daily since 8th October 2023) - Israel is on notice: its economy will not survive for much longer, if the Haifa seaport will have to endure daily barrages of rockets!
For the specs of Qader 2 and Nasr 1 missiles and more videos from Hezbollah, please check the Al Mayadeen article in the last link above.
P.S.: Actually, on a very final note, it is also worth reporting that Russia has issued a stern warning to Israel via its Deputy Foreign Minister, Sergei Ryabkov, who was quoted by Al Mayadeen as saying:
We have repeatedly warned and continue to warn, to caution (Israel) against even hypothetically considering the possibility of a strike on (Iranian) nuclear facilities and nuclear infrastructure.
[It] would be a catastrophic development and a complete negation of all existing principles in the area of ensuring nuclear safety.
We are in constant contact with the Iranian side, as it does not depend on fluctuations in the political scale and the degree of tension in the region, which has now become very high and causes great concern.

you can't get rid of people and leaders who want justice... life doesn't work that way... all this is mostly a propaganda exercise on the part of israel and friends to talk of the horrors of oct 7th, while leaving out the horrors of the past 75 years for the palestinian people... it might fool a few people, but most people see it for what it is - another propaganda exercise.. there is no other way to look at this... israel needs the propaganda because the horrific actions they continue to commit is the reality they want to bury and keep hidden...
as for the rest of it, - usa bombing yemen ain't going to work either, but they clearly show whose side they are on here - much the same as they do whenever their is a UN meeting to make a resolution on israel.. the usa is very predictable which long term, bodes very ill for them here..
