The Outlaw US Empire is getting humiliated
...but you may not know it, if you only follow MSM.
Antony J. Blinken, Secretary of State of the Outlaw US Empire, was in China last week. According to some commentators, such as Graham Allison, professor of government at Harvard University and former assistant secretary of defense for policy and plans under the first Clinton administration, interviewed by CNBC (see YouTube video below), Blinken’s visit went “well and predictably”.
Did it really go that well? It depends on the news outlets you read/watch.
For instance, Voice of America (VoA) focussed on the warnings that Blinken gave to China regarding its aid to Russia, whereas the Chinese newspaper Global Times, but also western news outlets CNN and BBC, focussed more on the Chinese warnings to the Outlaw US Empire.
In order to better understand how Antony Blinken was treated in China, let’s have a quick look at a meme by Lord Bebo that Pepe Escobar posted on his Telegram channel yesterday, comparing the Chinese reception of the US Secretary of State (bottom image below) to that of Bashar Al-Assad, President of Syria (top image below):
Obviously no red carpet and military parade/band for Blinken, poor guy!
Here you can see how “eager” Xi Jinping, President of the People's Republic of China, was to meet with the US Secretary of State (sorry, but I struggled to embed the video).
Finally, the photo below shows the last moment of Antony J. Blinken in China: again nobody from the Chinese authorities to wish him a safe journey, only the US ambassador in China, Nicholas Burns!
After all, what would you expect after sending the US Treasury Secretary, Janet Yellen, to China just to tell her counterparts to slow down production, because the Outlaw US Empire cannot compete with it? (I am referring to Janet Yellen’s visit in China at the beginning of April 2024 - see for instance this report by Al Jazeera).
Also, the image below show how the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, was welcomed in Saudi Arabia back in December 2023:
Compare it with the photos below with Blinken and Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in a few occasions:
Do you see something is missing in all occasions?
Yes, the flag of the Outlaw US Empire!
I will end this article with the English translation of the latest Telegram post from Maria Zakharova, spokeswoman of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, commenting on a recent statement by Antony Blinken (formatting original, except for my emphasis in bold):
Blinken said that the US authorities hoped that Russia would agree to negotiate the end of hostilities in Ukraine in accordance with the UN charter. According to him, the end of hostilities depends mainly on Russian President Vladimir Putin and his decisions. The US authorities therefore hope that Mr Putin “will demonstrate a willingness to engage in sincere negotiations in accordance with the basic principles underlying the international community and the UN Charter”.
There is a sense of a looking glass in which American politicians find themselves.
Let's put things in order.
Russia, as we know, has demonstrated respect for international law by initiating the Minsk agreements and their enshrinement in the form of a UN Security Council resolution. Moscow has also confirmed its readiness to respond constructively to the proposal for negotiations in 2022.
Blinken, however, apparently forgot that it was the US that forced Zelensky to ban Ukraine from negotiating with Russia. The Secretary of State has also forgotten the manic desire of the United States to replace international law with some “rules-based world order” that no one has seen. Nor does he want to recall that it was US allies France and Germany, as members of the Normandy format, who deliberately ignored the international legal solution to the Ukrainian crisis. This was recognised by Merkel and Hollande.
Let me remind Blinken of his own insistence on negotiating on the basis not of international law but of a certain “Zelensky formula”.
Everything is mixed up in the White House.
Good to see Blinken treated like the country he represents deserves - as an international pariah and terrorist regime.
Mao was spot on when he called U.S. diplomats, "the running dogs of U.S. imperialism".
