German elites in the throes of Stockholm syndrome
What follows is my English translation of a short article originally in Italian, published on Movisol.org on Monday 28th October 2024.
On 18th October [2024], during his last visit to Germany before leaving the White House, Joe Biden received the “Grand Cross of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany”, the highest honour of the German state, which is awarded as a reward for “merits acquired in the service of the country and the community”. Many observers were puzzled as to what Biden's merits might be, joking about certain assumptions, such as the stationing of nuclear missiles, making Germany a prime target in the event of a direct war between Russia and NATO. Or perhaps the role that Joe Biden, fierce enemy of the Russian-German Nord Stream pipeline since the day it was built, would play in its destruction in September 2022?
German investigators have avoided delving into this aspect of the sabotage, sticking to the ludicrous thesis according to which a Polish-Ukrainian team of sports divers carried out such a complex operation undetected by NATO in one of the world's most heavily guarded bodies of water. Perhaps these investigators also deserve the Federal Cross for the merit of covering up the affair...
Just on Nord Stream, on the second anniversary of the sabotage on 26 September, the leading Danish daily Politiken revealed a possible US military connection, which the German media and broadcaster RT picked up on. Journalist Hans Davidsen-Nielsen, who has been following the story, travelled to Christiansø, the easternmost part of Denmark in the Baltic Sea, east of Bornholm and close to the spot where Nord Stream was sabotaged. There Davidsen-Nielsen interviewed the port director John Anker Nielsen.
The latter, who initially had to obey orders to keep quiet, revealed that “five days before the attack he was at sea with a rescue patrol boat, because there were some ships with their transponders switched off. It turned out that these were American ships, and when the patrol boat approached, the American command told them to turn back. Therefore, the harbourmaster tends to believe the theory put forward by the American journalist Seymour Hersh” that “the US was behind the sabotage. The Americans have small, unmanned submarines that can perform any task, Nielsen said. The port commander's family has lived in Christiansø for seven generations and is familiar with the weather and wind conditions in the Baltic Sea. In this context, he does not give much credence to the theory of Ukrainians on yachts that dive up to 80 metres”.
Biden is not the only American to have been honoured in Germany in recent days. On 20 October, on the sidelines of the Frankfurt Book Fair, the Polish-American writer Anne Applebaum was awarded the “German Publishing Peace Prize”, on the grounds that her warnings that Vladimir Putin was the new Stalin had struck a chord years ago. His new book, entitled “Autocracy, Inc: The Dictators Who Want To Run the World”, is full of polemics against Putin's Russia and other countries unwilling to bow to the dictates of the infamous “unipolar world order”. The awarding of a “peace prize” to a defender of wars and Anglo-American imperialism speaks volumes about the degree of degeneration of German publishing.
Applebaum was accompanied to Frankfurt by her consort Radoslaw Sikorski, Foreign Minister of Poland. Our readers will recall that it was he who “spilled the beans” on those responsible for the sabotage of the Nord Stream pipeline, tweeting almost immediately the message “Thank You USA”, with a photo of the pipeline leak. The tweet was later deleted, perhaps after a bollocking from Washington.
I think we can replace the concept of 'plausible deniability' with 'implausible deniability.' Today's official narrative on anything coming from the USA (and their satraps) is about as convincing as a 5 year old who denies raiding the cookie jar while covered in crumbs.
As for Germany, the similarity to the Weimar Republic just jumps out at you. The only difference this time is they aren't a threat to anyone but themselves.
The more sensible population of the world has no doubts about which country was the culprit in the execution of the Nordstream terrorist act. The fact that the vassal Germany honors Biden or the witch Applebaum is only a sign that even the trace of courage has disappeared from the Germans ! The Germans are the fat cats who sold their honor for prosperity, but this will end now, when the Morgenthau plan is implemented on them, 80 years later than planned !
