yeah, those coincidences you note with regard the timing of the terrorist attacks in turkey are hard to ignore..
as for the 2 articles translated from italian - the 2nd one - i like the chinese proverb! regarding the UN - it is a popular kicking ball for many on the left and right.. i don't share the hostility towards it, in spite of its faults.. it is true the examples cited - libya, or iraq - and how it was abused, but that doesn't mean people don't see who is doing the abuse.. same deal with the UN with regard to the usa always vetoing the curtailing of israels actions... so in a way the UN is very useful for seeing the games that certain countries are playing on the world stage.. in this regard the UN is very useful... also - russia and china are on record as wanting to uphold the UN and i am in agreement with them, for the reasons i give above and more... it might not be working perfectly, but it highlights who the bad actors on the world stage are here... cheers..
Yeah, I do not fully agree with the hostility of the authors towards the UN either, but I sort of agree with overall tone of their article, if you know what I mean. And, of course, you raise very good points!
