Iran has to respond to the latest Israeli violation of Iranian sovereignty, to restore its deterrence and to placate its people's thirst for vengeance against the Little Satan (Israel), as well as the Great Satan (the Outlaw US Empire)!
Since the assassination of Hamas political leader Ismail Haniyeh on 31st July, Iran has been quite explicit in its statements, saying that recent Israeli escalations will not go unpunished. Here is a collection of statements from Iranian officials only from today, all from IRNA (Islamic Republic News Agency):
Neither Hezbollah, nor Iran have retaliated yet to the assassination of Fuad Shukr in Beirut and Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran, respectively, yet Hezbollah has restarted its military operation in North Israel. I suspect that they will both launch a coordinated attack, possibly in conjunction with the Islamic Resistance in Iraq and the Houthis in Yemen, but it's hard to say when.
In any case, I believe that Israel will feel the pain this time. If it struggled to contain the Iranian attack in April, with the help of US and UK, it will sustain significant damage from a well-coordinated attack by all parties of the Axis of Resistance, even if the Outlaw US Empire manages to garner help from other (NATO) countries (surely not Turkey, though!).
It is wrong that France advised evacuation of frogs from Cyprus. The guardian article says:
"On Friday France urged its citizens to leave Iran and Cyprus said it had expanded plans to support a large-scale evacuation from the region if the war expands."
The cause of the confusion is no doubt an illiterate british idiot posing as a journalist and writing without punctuation this: "leave Iran and Cyprus said it had expanded plans" as opposed to "leave Iran. Cyprus said it had expanded plans".
A rules-based system even in writing english. Indeed.

IMO, with what Israel is doing, Iran has no de-escalatory reasons to hold back on retaliation.
