That would be my conclusion. Russia has an enhanced military alliance with NK, since the West launched the war against Russia. Russia has supplied NK with enhanced missile systems. So it would be no surprise to me if Russia extended an invitation to NK to send its troops to Russian training grounds for training in modern Russian military tactics, Russian arms and systems. Everything NK has is old Soviet stuff (but they have a lot of it.)
If for no other reason than to poke the US in the eye for launching a proxy war against Russia...
Russia has offered similar deals with other countries. I remember reading they offered it to Lebanon in the past. Military agreements of this type are common among countries, usually for weapons sales reasons. Lebanon was offered various forms of military assistance, including preferred customer status buying Russian weapons, admission to Russian military exercises as observers, etc.
Russia has more than enough men to not need NK troops. It would be interesting if Russia made a deal with NK to supply men, not for rear duty, but actual combat troops, in exchange for economic aid to NK. But I doubt that's the case.
i doubt russia is extending a hand to NK with the idea that NK will go to war with SK... i think these 2 countries could reunite at some point back to what they were before the usa were taken over with their fear of communism and all that it entailed.. apparently dropped chemical weapons on people is preferable to the thought of communism getting a foothold.. that was the insanity of the past, only to be replaced with the insanity of the present - see nato-russia conflict for that... in fact, i think the vast majority of people want peace - not war.. it is the warmongers that are our biggest challenge in overcoming..
They may not be planning a war with SK, but Russian training might still be extended to NK as an ally. After all, the US probably still plans on attacking NK at some point, if for no other reason than SK would be involved in any war between the US and China and therefore NK would be involved as well. Strategic planners thinks in those terms, so the Russian General Staff and the Chinese General Staff both probably expect North and South Korea to be involved in a US war with China.
yes - russia training NK - definitely possible.. also possible russia letting NK be involved in the kursk dynamic, as it is on russian territory without question... as for the usa wanting to start a war with china and involving SK - the part about involving SK makes sense, but the part about the usa making a war with china is looking less and less likely to me - but this runs counter to everything we are hearing and being told..
It runs counter for two reasons: 1) you always seem to want to believe that humans won't fight when the entire history of the human species is it always fights; and 2) it happens to be true that the US intends a war with China because it can not allow China, Russia, Iran, NK or anyone else to not be under the rule of the US.
So a war is inevitable - unless the US is so weakened by its earlier wars that it literally can't start one. And even then, the politicians will try, because as Martyanov says daily and correctly, they're stupid and uneducated and have a delusional belief in the power of the US military which is utterly unwarranted.
