We had a US senator who was an annoying problem for the permanent war party. He went on a chartered twin engine plane with a professional pilot in IFR weather. For no apparent reason, the plane flew into a forest and all in board were killed, including his wife.

Much like this latest helicopter crash, the Wellstones were flying in poor visibility, where a pilot must trust his instruments to fly, rather than looking at the horizon & ground. Under such conditions, a sophisticated actor can compromise flight instruments/spoof GPS and cause a pilot to crash- The CIA has had this capability for quite a while, if attacking a "fly by wire" aircraft, they don't even need to convince the pilot to crash, they can just take control and do what they like. Naturally, Mossad is at least as capable.

In the case of Senator Wellstones crash in MN, a team of federal people showed up at the crash site and took over, sending the local responders away while they investigated. It has been pointed out by some that these federal investigators arrival time would have required their departure to the crash site SEVERAL HOURS BEFORE THE CRASH. But nobody would print such a crazy thing at that time-

They blamed pilot error and weather. Nobody else got to physically investigate site or access whatever data might have been recoverable from the aircraft electronics. And a nice dependable R then won his seat, so problem solved.

Mel Carnahan, who looked likely to take the US Senate seat of hard-line neocon John Ashcroft died very similarly.

A lot of "difficult" USA politicians have died in aircraft crashes since the end of the Carter Administration. Oddly enough, none were great friends of the CIA.

Thank you, interesting anecdote.

The weather conditions give a perfect alibi/excuse to Mossad.

Maybe they did not spoof/jam the GPS, as this would have affected the other helicopters, which quite curiously made it to their base, but they may have tampered the helicopter that Raisi was using for travelling.

It is also possible that the pilot just fucked up or the helicopter had a mechanical failure. With everyone onboard dead and fire after, we are unlikely to ever know.

I think very soon things are going to go "hot" in many areas. I just do not think China, Russia, and BRICS are going to be able to just "wait out the Empire". It is going to become too messy, humans put their leaders on pedestals, few deserve it, most do not, but humans have always done it. The Global South cannot sit back and allow The Empire to kill off heads of State (even IF it is not true) we have Fico shot, Pres. of Iran died in crash. people will lose the courage to stand up to the US if this is allowed to continue unchecked. Just an opinion from a US citizen that despises my Govt. for the pain and suffering it continues to cause worldwide

I don't think that things are going to get "hot" very soon. In particular, I do not believe that China, Russia and BRICS are in a rush - for instance: China is slowly dumping all the US debt it holds, whereas Russia is just running a war of attrition against NATO in Ukraine. As Napoleon once said, "never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake"... and the Outlaw US Empire is making one mistake after the other and it is on the brink of collapse.

By the way, I remember reading an article about that the lifecycle of empires in history is ~250 years (I cannot find that specific article, but if you do a quick search, you will find quite a few on this topic, e.g. the one at the bottom) and it is quite obvious that the Outlaw US Empire is in its decadent and terminal phase. After all, if you consider that the US declaration of independence from UK was signed on 4th July 1776, it's been almost 250 years since its foundation! :)

I really hope you are right. I will gladly say "I was wrong" . I know a little something about "The War Pigs" in my country. They are not going to just give up! (my opinion, as I said "I hope I am wrong)

For instance, people seem to grab onto the "China is dumping US debt" This seems to be your "sign" but IF China decides to really throw the US economy into a severe crash, it is going to crash China's economy also. People always forget for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. Russia is going to destroy Ukraine. Russia needs to be able to sell weapons to get back some of the huge investment made in military spending. All of these things are tied globally but no one will look at the big picture, you are focused on your team, Russia is still selling important rare earths to US why? Because it needs to , THe US is buying Russian oil.... I could go on and on

That's why China is not dumping all the US debt at once, because, as you said, that would greatly damage Chinese economy as well. Instead, the Chinese are doing it slowly on purpose and gradually shifting to use of national currencies.

Indeed for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction: that is what Western governments fail to understand.

They thought that sanctions would have killed Russian economy, without realizing that they are actually damaging their own economies (I am referring to European countries, in particular).

Regarding Russia destroying Ukraine... Russia is actually trying to avoid total destruction. I mean: Russians could have done a "shock & awe" operation as NATO did in Jugoslavia, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Syria, etc., but they are not doing this. Why? Because they see Ukrainians as brothers (they are both Slavic peoples), although brainwashed by NATO propaganda, and because they know they will have to live with them, at least as neighbours. Also notice how Russians have rebuilt Mariupol: https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=russians+rebuild+mariupol

Have you seen anything like this in Balkan countries (e.g. Kosovo and Serbia), Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Syria, etc., after US exported "democracy" there? Nope, I keep seeing instability, poverty, misery and destruction.

Yes, Russia needs to be able to sell weapons and the war in Ukraine is a great advertisement for their arms... unfortunately the same does not hold true for NATO's "wunderwaffe".

Regarding Russia selling rare earths to US, Putin has never wanted to stop commerce with US or Europe, because he knows he needs their money. In fact, he is still selling oil and gas to Europe via third countries at higher prices than before! It is the US that forced Europe to adopt sanctions to try to inflict damage to Russia, without success, and to inflict damage to Europe. The neocons knew very well that the European economy coupled to Russian energy and materials was very dangerous to the American hegemony: this is why they started the war in Ukraine, this is why they always wanted so bad to terminate the Nord Stream pipelines connecting Germany directly to Russia, bypassing Ukraine.

I understand that the big picture is very complicated, however I am not focussed on "my" team, as you say. In any case, I cannot go into detail in a comment, because there is literally a lot of material to unearth. However, if you are interested, I strongly recommend that you read these two series of articles:

Journalists Elijah Magnier and Richard Silverstein, the former affiliated to Hezbollah and the latter with links to Israeli security sources, suggest that Israel is behind the helicopter crash:

Please! A 45 year old aircraft operating at high altitude in questionable weather conditions, let's widely speculate about other more likely things such as: NATO to cease all regime change operations in Eastern Europe.

I cover those as well. See for instance:

Anyway, if you have read my article, you have probably noticed that I stated at the beginning that "it is very likely that the accident was due to bad weather" and I also highlighted the age and potentially the poor maintenance of the helicopter ("a Bell 212, due to its age (~40 years) and Western sanctions, which make maintenance and procurement of spare parts more difficult"). Then, after examining some interesting titbits, I concluded that "the helicopter crash looks like an accident, however there are clues, but no proof/evidence, that Israel is behind a potential sabotage of the helicopter"
