This is an extremely serious precedent that is reminiscent of Donald Trump’s assassination of General Soleimani. Same mafia techniques. How can we believe that the junta in kyiv is willing to negotiate? There is no doubt that the SBU was duly briefed and guided by US “advisers”. It is to be feared that Ukraine will pay dearly for this crime, gratuitous, after all, and the punishment will be amply deserved…

I seriously believe that at least one head will soon fall in Kiev.

This crime cannot go unpunished. I expect a mirror retaliation or sort of.

If they think they are safe in an underground bunker, they are wrong. Oreshnik will find them even there!

Just last night Sergei Karakayev, commander of the Strategic Missile Forces (RVSN), "announced the creation of missiles equal in efficiency to the ‘Oreshnik’" and "emphasised that a range of products as effective as Oreshnik and Avangard is now at the final stage of development" - from https://tvzvezda.ru/news/20241217136-kYT5W.html?ysclid=m4s9bvvu4m84292452 (in Russian)

Kiev and Washington DC have not understood that they are playing with fire!

I know my country (UK) is shamelessly complicit. I appreciate the comment made by Maria Zakharova on her Telegram channel, "Bright memory." I found that especially moving and respectful. Thanks for the report Ismaele, even though it is most sad to receive.

In the West there are many leaders hated and despised in their countries yet have no compunction in privately celebrating or publicly extolling the murder of Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov. Apparently they feel abundantly safe and secure despite the knowledge they approved and probably assisted the Ukrainian SBU in this assassination and many others going back to 2014. The arrogance and confidence in their safety and survival is remarkable considering their unpopularity and outpourings of hatred for all who do not share their values

What or who protects them why do they sleep so soundly when their crimes are legion and go unpunished?

The United States, Israel and Kiev are terrorist states, with the same modus operandi and the same arrogance, fueled by their sense of immunity.

The response should be imaginative and painful, without falling into the baseness that characterises them.

none of the images you posted came through. Maybe the Guardian - if that's where you got them - has some sort of block so images can't be transfered.

I'm so sorry to hear this. Assassinations are the most awful crime of all

Strange. Thanks for letting me know. I will replace the photos (not from The Guardian) on the on-line version of the article.

thanks ismaele.. i am not sure an immediate or obvious response from russia will be forthcoming.. in fact, i highly doubt it... the poster xor made a post worthy of contemplation by those in support of russia, who may need to temper there desire for a quick response.. here it is -

"Here's a list on top of my mind where Russia or its 'identity' was attacked with no harsh reaction in kind:

(Correct me if the response was harsher than stated)

Near the start of the Russian military operation in Syria, Daesh bombed a civilian plane where everyone died and which likely had Turkey as the mastermind behind it. There were some bombing raids on Daesh but I don't recall if it was on Turkish assets. The Kurd-Turkey "tanker pipeline" destruction was later if I recall. Either way, the response was not 'in kind'.

When Turkey downed a Russian frogfoot killing both airmen the reaction was the Kurd-Turkey "tanker pipeline" destruction but no actual quid pro quo.

UN ambassador Vitaly Churkin who died (20 February 2017) during a short period when many other higher ranking Russians died of "natural causes" didn't provoke any reprisals to my knowledge.

When Israel provoked the downing of a Russian SIGINT plane over the Mediterranean sea in front Latakia (18 Sept 2018) killing all its personal, there was no reprisal to my knowledge.

The attack on the Moskova didn't seem to have a reaction in kind. But one must bare in mind that the success of the Huthi's, for example a British destroyer had to leave the Red sea in the early days after taking damage, might also be attributable to Russian intel.

The assassinations of Dugina and Vladlen didn't really provoke a Russian reaction to my knowledge.

The bombing of the Kerch bridge provoked some attacks on dual use Ukrainian infrastructure but that was it.

The assassination of the Wagner top didn't provoke a Russian reaction but the previous actions committed by them might warrant that.

The Krokus hall terrorist attack would show us the actual perpetrators getting some rough handling and there were some attacks on dual use Ukrainian infrastructure but that was it if I recall well.

I think the Russian leadership accepts these incidents and events as sacrifices that need to be made. Furthermore despite all what has happened to it, where it's attacked on all fronts by most of NATO, Russia's military potency has vastly increased as did its diplomatic and economic prowess.

Bomb the Washington DC before it's too late.

I have many friends in the USA and some have been in countries and saw the suffering of people who the US decided to bomb.

I am sure they would think the same as me.

I am in the West..........get shot of these US/Zionists NOW. Don't care if I die with the bombs......just get rid of the USA and Israel.

As Richard Steven Hack says, "that ain't gonna happen"... not any time soon, at least.

This could have been ended long ago by a missile strike aimed at Zelensky. But he is just a puppet of the West. The progression of the Depopulation Agenda continues along with other aims. It will always be able the Big Picture.
